Post Car Syndrome

I’ve sold the old Civic! I didn’t even get a chance to post it on AutoTrader. I posted it on Craigslist and within less than a day the car was sold. The new owner is a pretty nice guy. I hope he appreciates the car as much as I did.

Now I miss the old car. I had a lot of great memories with that car.

  1. Let me be the first to say that while I mourn your loss, congratulations on selling it so fast =)

BTW did you know the tab order for the comment form is strange? It skips over the comment textarea, goes to the anti-spam captcha, and then comes back to the textarea.

Good to see you’re still alive. I’ll have to post to my blog sometime too!

  2. Hey John,

Yea I noticed before the tab index is odd with the plugin for preventing spam with the image validation. There is an update for that plugin available, I may check it out. I bet the plugin has the tabindex=2 set or something weird.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

  3. you miss it? i haven’t looked back on my old car once since i bought my new 07 si sedan.

  4. I do miss the old car. I spent a lot of time driving it and working on it. The 2000 Civic was the easiest car I’ve ever had to work on. I’ve replaced the brakes, taken the front bumper off many times to add/remove engine components, etc… The only thing that was a pain in the butt to get to were the rear deck lid speakers. You literally have to take all the interior out of the car in order to get to the screws that hold the speakers in.

With that said, my new car is 10 times better. I am not going back that is for sure!
